A New Baby, Squash, and a Haircut

The past week went by really quickly! Jake didn't have school on Tuesday, but he started regular classes on Wednesday. He only goes for a half day from 8:40-11:08. I'm not sure why they didn't just make it until 11:10. He absolutely loves school! I'm so glad. He gets excited every morning when it's time to get dressed. It really is a lot of fun to see him going to school. He's so adorable!

My cousin Julie-Ann had her baby boy on Tuesday morning. He was 6lbs, 15oz. They named him Jaden Pius Daem. He's pretty darn cute! I'll put some pictures up once I move and find my wires!

I started Amy on solid food this week. She had squash! I'm not sure if she liked it or not. She didn't gag, so that's a good sign. I think she was just trying to figure out what I was doing! She wanted to hold the spoon too and kept grabbing at it. So, I gave her a spoon to hold, but then I couldn't get the food in her mouth because she was chewing on the spoon! She seems to like being in the high chair though.

Jake actually let me cut his hair! I told him I was going to trim the sides for him and he got mad. I said it's either a trim with the scissors, or a total shave. What do you choose? He chose the total shave. He didn't even cry or complain! It took about 5 minutes total! Much better than in the past when it would take an hour of bribing, crying and screaming. Yay, Jake!

Not much else happened this week except for packing, packing and more packing!

Jake spent the night at Grandma's house. He loves it there. He especially loves Grandpa Ernie's classic car. He insisted that he get a ride home in it tonight, so mom and Ernie drove him halfway home and we met them and transferred him into our car. He's pretty funny...

My favorite thing that Jake said lately is "Hey daddy, are you a great guy like me?"
