So, I'm pretty much organized and all packed up. There's always stuff that has to wait to be packed until the day before the move. Otherwise, I think we're good to go! We signed all the papers at the lawyers office this morning and we should get the keys tomorrow! It's nice to get in early. I can move a little slower and set some things up as we go along. Yippee!
Jake is really loving school. He's so funny. I woke him up for school yesterday morning and he asked me where we were going. I said "to school" and he said "What! I was just there yesterday!" Too funny. He does like going, but I think he was surprised that he got to go every day. I think I need to go out and buy him a few more shirts though and one more pair of pants. Who's idea was it to have little boys wear white shirts for a school uniform? One shirt has strawberry juice on it, one has something else on it, and one has grass stains on the back of it and on one sleeve. I think I need one shirt for each day of the week, and then I can just throw them into a load on the weekend with a bit of bleach and be done with it! Plus, his navy dress pants always look like they have dirty knees. I guess they must sit on the floor a lot at school. Jake sits on his knees a lot, so I guess all the dust from the floor gets all over his pants.
Amy tried sweet potatoes today and loved them! She ate all of it. She also likes oatmeal cereal. I think she likes it better than the rice cereal. Much more flavor I think... She's growing up so fast! She's creeping across the floor now too. Not crawling, but trying. She just sort of wiggles across the room like a little worm. She's pretty determined to get something she wants! Especially the remote control for the TV!
Kids are in bed, Bentley's out playing cards...time for a movie and popcorn!
